Musical Events at Nasser Station

On the occasion of World Music Day, "RATP Dev Mobility Cairo," the company responsible for managing and operating Green Line 3 metro and Capital train (LRT Light Rail Transit), organized musical events for passengers inside Nasser Station on Green Line 3.

World Music Day, celebrated on June 21, is marked by nearly 120 countries through various free musical concerts and performances to highlight the importance of music for humanity and to spread positive energy among the public unexpectedly.

The celebration at Nasser Station began with a performance by the "Voice Band," followed by an orchestra performance by the "Little Fingers" under the direction of Dr. Raji. The audience engaged with the performances in a very enthusiastic and unexpected manner.

Our goal is to change the stereotypical image of Cairo Metro stations into a distinctive and lively experience, in addition to the entertainment aspect. We aspire to encourage passengers to use metro lines as a means of transportation instead of cars.
