The introduction of sign language at Capital Train. RATP Dev Mobility Cairo under the directives of the Ministry of Transport and the supervision of the National Authority for Tunnels is thrilled to announce the introduction of sign language for the first time in a transportation system in Egypt at Capital Train. This groundbreaking initiative is a testament to our commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that everyone can access our services. By adding sign language to our system, we're ensuring that all passengers with hearing impairments, can easily access vital information about train directions, ticket prices, and other services. With the support of the AUC The American University in Cairo, we've been able to introduce several important features: • Digital displays with sign language videos at our platforms and ticket offices • Basic sign language training for all staff who interact with passengers • Dedicated sign language ambassadors to provide support. We're proud to unveil the first displays at Adly Mansour hub. We'll further develop this program to enhance accessibility. Join us in celebrating this important milestone as we strive to create a more accessible and welcoming transportation system for all.
