1. The Great Pyramids of Giza
Any trip to Egypt must start with these other-worldly creations. They go from Menkaure, the smallest pyramid, to Khafre, the second largest, to Khufu, better known as the Great Pyramid of Giza. You simply cannot miss this must-see attraction.

2. The Egyptian Museum
The museum contains a unique collection of more than 160,000 pieces of Ancient Egyptian history. This high number of antiquities displayed in Cairo's Egyptian Museum makes it one of the world's greatest museums.

3. Al-Azhar Mosque
One of the most famous mosques in the Muslim world; the building is home to a different blend of architectural styles as well as one of the world’s oldest universities.

4. Al-Azhar Park
The park is a lovely place to enjoy a variety of restaurants, evening strolls and gorgeous views at sunset. It’s also the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing.
5. Khan El Khalili
Established in the 14th century, Khan el Khalili is one of the world’s first markets. You will find almost anything you can dream of buying in its narrow alleys.
6. Citadel of Saladin
The Citadel of Saladin (or Al-Qalaa) was home to Egypt's rulers for almost 700 years. It houses the famous landmark The Mosque of Muhammad Ali.
7. Mosque of Al-Hakim
Enjoy the beauty of the architecture on display here as well as the famous minarets. A major Islamic religious site located at El Moez street that you must visit.
8. The Coptic Museum
Founded in 1908, Cairo’s Coptic Museum is home to one of the world’s biggest collections of Egyptian Christian art. The museum traces the history of Egypt from its beginning to the present day.

9. Cairo Tower
One of Cairo’s most recognizable landmarks; the tower is topped with a café, an observation deck, and a revolving restaurant. Don’t miss the magical sunset when you visit.

10. Ibn Tulun Mosque
Ibn Tulun Mosque is the largest mosque in Cairo. This huge complex was built by Ahmad Ibn Tulun to accommodate all of his troops during Friday prayers.

11. Cairo International Stadium
Cairo International Stadium is the first of its kind to hold Olympic standards in the Middle East and Africa. Enjoy the excitement and the adrenaline rush when you visit.

13. Basilica Church of Heliopolis
Built in 1910 by Belgian-origin businessman Baron Edouard Empain, its grand architecture is a unique blend of the Egyptian and Byzantine styles.

14. Baron Empain Palace
A distinctive and historic Hindu temple inspired mansion located in Heliopolis.
